On December 25, 2025, a dust storm swept across Salt Lake City, a visible manifestation of the Great Salt Lake’s record-low water levels. This zine documents that day through 35mm black and white photography, capturing the moment when the mounting drought-driven environmental crisis in the state became visible in the air. Dec 25/25 marks the beginning of a potential series: photographs that locate the climate crisis within the everyday, moments when environmental collapse ceases to be a future condition and becomes something that must be witnessed and reckoned with.
