Untitled (Hideout)
Project 8

[ONGOING]
An ongoing series of works, Untitled (Hideout) focuses sharply on a single place: Hideout, UT, formerly known as Keetley. The location carries a layered history: indigenous land shaped by the silver mining boom in the late 1860s, home to Keetley Farms (an agricultural colony where Japanese Americans were “voluntarily” relocated during WWII), flooded in the mid-1990s to create a reservoir, and today the site of aggressive development. The work explores how place connects disparate people and histories across time, and how this convergence shapes and is shaped by the land itself.
